The Veterans Treatment Court in Kent County District Court is a specialized docket for cases involving veterans and service members, focused on trauma-related disorders. It offers treatment that can lead to jail diversion, reduced charges or alternative sentencing, and supervises your compliance throughout the court process. You may be referred to the Trauma, Addiction, Mental Health and Recovery program, receive peer support through the Veterans Mentor Program, and get access to further VA services.
