South Carolina Veteran and Armed Services Legal Outreach Program

South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, with the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Military Department
Free legal clinics, plus referrals to free or heavily discounted lawyers

You can get free legal clinics and a referral line that connects you with lawyers offering free or heavily discounted help. The clinics handle simple matters such as wills and powers of attorney, and common issues including Servicemembers Civil Relief Act problems and deployment-related trouble with landlords or property, employment, and interest rates that should have been reduced by law. The program is run jointly by the Attorney General’s Office, the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Military Department.
