What you'll need

The completed reduced fee hunting and fishing license application, the $10 fee, and official documentation of your VA disability rating, your Level K special monthly compensation, your Social Security disability rating with proof of service, or your prisoner of war status.

Eligibility

  • You are a South Dakota resident
  • You receive VA Level K special monthly compensation, you have a service-connected disability rating of 40 percent or more from the VA, you have a 40 percent Social Security disability rating and served in an active or reserve component of the U.S. Armed Forces, or you were declared a prisoner of war
