The state veterans cemetery in Sioux Falls provides burial for veterans and their eligible family members, with casketed graves, cremation graves, a scattering garden and columbaria niches. You get the grave site or niche, a grave liner, a headstone, niche cover or memorial marker, and perpetual care. There is no fee to bury a veteran. Burying a spouse or eligible dependent costs $978, which cannot be prepaid and can change. There is no state residency requirement.
