As a currently serving Florida National Guard member you get one tax-free licence plate registration or renewal each year. Plate fees still apply for anything other than a Florida National Guard plate or a standard Florida plate.

Have your First Sergeant or Commanding Officer sign the FLHSMV Application for U.S. Reserve or Florida National Guard License Plate, then submit it at your local county tax collector’s office or licence plate agent office.

What you'll need

The completed application signed by your First Sergeant or Commanding Officer, and your Florida National Guard military ID.
