Tennessee belongs to the interstate compact that smooths school transitions for military children. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived from the previous district, keeps differences between states in attendance rules, scheduling, course sequencing, grading, course content and assessment from disadvantaging your child, protects eligibility for educational programs and for academic, athletic and social extracurricular activities, and helps your child graduate on time.
