Texas Homestead Property Tax Exemption for 100% Disabled or Unemployable Veterans

Local Texas county appraisal district (tax assessor or collector)
100 percent of your home value exempt from property tax

You pay no property tax at all on your home if the VA compensates you at the 100 percent total and permanent service-connected disability rating or at the individual unemployability rate. Property tax in Texas is assessed and administered locally, so the county appraisal district where your home sits grants the exemption. If you qualify for more than one veteran property tax exemption you can only take one, so take the largest you qualify for.
