Texas Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

Texas Education Agency, through the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

Texas belongs to the interstate compact that smooths school moves for military children. It gets your child enrolled promptly even when records have not arrived, keeps differences between states in attendance rules, scheduling, course sequencing, grading, course content and testing from setting your child back, protects their eligibility for programs and for academic, athletic and social activities, and works toward on-time graduation.
