You can speak to a Women Veterans Coordinator about getting equal access to the federal and state benefits and services you earned, and you can add yourself to the Texas Women Veterans Registry, a voluntary database that recognizes women who served. The programme also raises public awareness, honors women veterans and makes legislative recommendations on their behalf.
Use the Texas Veterans Commission Women Veterans Program online contact form to reach a Women Veterans Coordinator, and complete the registry form if you want to be listed.
Your DD214 or other proof of service when you join the registry.
