Free day-use entry for you and up to seven guests in one private vehicle

You can get a free annual pass giving you and up to seven guests in the same private vehicle free day-use entry at Utah State Parks. It does not cover This Is the Place Heritage Park or the fees for travelling on the Antelope Island Causeway, and special charges inside a park still apply. The pass is only valid when the veteran it was issued to is present, and it cannot be transferred.

How to apply

Pick up your pass at a Utah State Parks regional office, at the main office in Salt Lake City, or at any state park except Flight Park, Piute State Park, Jordan River OHV State Park, Utahraptor State Park, Lost Creek State Park and This Is the Place Heritage Park.

What you'll need

A VA Benefit Summary Letter showing your service-connected disability rating, and proof of your Utah residency and honorable discharge.

Eligibility

  • You are a Utah resident
  • You received an honorable discharge
  • You have a service-connected disability rating of any percentage from the VA
  • You can provide a VA Benefit Summary Letter proving your rating
