Utah Military Survivor Annuity Income Tax Credit

Tax credit equal to 4.55 percent of your federally taxable survivor annuity

You can claim a Utah income tax credit on a Survivor Benefit Plan, Reserve Component Survivor Benefit Plan or Retired Serviceman’s Family Protection Plan annuity that is included in your federal adjusted gross income. The credit is your federally taxable annuity multiplied by 0.0455, which is 4.55 percent.
