Vermont guarantees and pays for a proper burial if you are a low income veteran. Families are also encouraged to consider the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery for its quality and low cost.

What you'll need

The veteran’s DD214 or other discharge paperwork, the death certificate, and documentation of income or financial hardship.
