For a one-time $2 fee you can get a lifetime Green Mountain Passport that gives you free day entry to Vermont State Parks, state historic sites and fully state sponsored events.
Apply in person at your local town clerk’s office. Passports are only issued by town clerks, not by the state parks system, so contacting Vermont State Parks will not get you one.
Your DD214 or other proof of an honorable discharge, proof of Vermont residency, and the $2 fee.
