Vermont offers 13 military and veteran license plates plus 6 combat theater plates honoring service members, veterans, retired service members and eligible family members. They can go on vehicles registered at the pleasure car rate and trucks registered for less than 26,001 pounds. None of them can be personalized, and each plate is only reissued to the original plate holder or their unremarried surviving spouse.
