You can receive a one-time payment of up to $500 if you are a Vermont veteran or the family member of one and you are in a financial crisis with a critical need, such as housing or utilities.

What you'll need

Your DD214 or other proof of service, proof of Vermont residency, and documentation of the critical need such as an overdue rent or utility bill.

You are a Vermont resident veteran, or the family member of one
You are in a financial crisis and need help paying for a critical need such as housing or utilities
