Veteran Designation on Maryland Driver’s Licenses and ID Cards

Maryland Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA)
No cost when you are only adding or reprinting the designation

You can have the word Veteran printed on your Maryland driver’s license or ID card, which shows you are eligible for state veterans benefits. There is no cost if you are only adding the designation, or if you already have it on the back of your card and want a new secure card with Veteran on the front. Standard fees apply if you change anything else at the same time, such as your name or address.
