You can have a "VETERAN" designation printed on your Mississippi driver’s licence or ID card as proof of military service. The normal fees for an original, duplicate or renewal licence or ID card still apply.

Apply at any Mississippi Driver Service Bureau station and ask for the veteran designation.

What you'll need

One of the following as proof of eligibility: your DD214, retired service member ID card, VA medical ID card, VA ID card, or NGB22.

Eligibility

You are applying for a Mississippi driver’s licence or ID card
You received an honorable discharge
You can show a DD214, retired service member ID card, VA medical ID card, VA ID card, or NGB22
