Veteran Designation on Tennessee Driver Licenses and ID Cards

Veteran designation added at standard fees; $8 first duplicate, $12 second duplicate

You can have a veteran designation added to your Tennessee driver license or ID card as proof of service. Standard issuance and renewal fees still apply. If you want a duplicate license or ID carrying the designation, the first duplicate is $8 and the second is $12.

What you'll need

A certified or original copy of your DD214 or other discharge papers.

Eligibility

You hold a Tennessee driver license or ID card, or are applying for one
You received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces
