How to apply

Go to any Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles location with your current licence or ID card and an original proof of service.

What you'll need

A valid Delaware driver licence or ID card, plus an original military ID, NGB22, DD214, DD256, honorable discharge certificate, or a valid out-of-state driver licence that already carries a veteran designation. Copies are not accepted.

Eligibility

You are a Delaware resident
You received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces
You have a valid Delaware driver licence or ID card
You can show an original military ID, NGB22, DD214, DD256, honorable discharge certificate, or a valid out-of-state driver licence with a veteran designation
