What you'll need

Your DD214 showing at least 181 days of active duty service, and income or first-generation information if you are qualifying on that basis.

Eligibility

You served at least 181 days on active duty
You are attending or planning to attend a college, university, technical school or certificate program
You are a low-income student and a potential first-generation college graduate, or you were a reserve component member called to active duty for 31 days or more on or after September 11, 2001, or you were called to active duty for less than 30 days in support of a contingency operation on or after September 11, 2001
