Virginia Military Medics and Corpsmen (MMAC) Program

Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS), Military Medics and Corpsmen Program
Referral to healthcare employers, and clinical practice without civilian credentials for recent medics and corpsmen

MMAC finds you healthcare work in Virginia and refers you to employers across the state. If you were a Combat Medic (68W), Corpsman or Medical Technician (4N0X) and are within 12 months of discharge, it lets you practise clinical skills without civilian healthcare credentials. It also helps veterans with clinical or non-clinical military medical training find healthcare jobs, helps you move military leadership experience into medical field leadership, and helps military spouses start or continue a healthcare career. It does not provide licensure, certification or direct financial assistance.
