Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS)
Tuition and all mandatory fees waived for eight semesters, plus a stipend for room, board, books and supplies in combat-related cases

You can get all tuition and mandatory fees waived for eight semesters at a Virginia public college or university if you are the spouse, surviving spouse or child of a service member or veteran who was killed, went missing, was taken prisoner, or has a serious service-connected disability. If the death or disability was caused directly by combat operations, you can also get a stipend toward room, board, books and supplies.
