Virginia State Employee Reserve Component Active Military Supplement

Virginia Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM)
The difference between your gross military pay and your base state salary

If you are a Virginia state employee called to active duty and your military pay is less than your state salary, the state pays you the difference. The supplement makes up the gap between your base state salary and your gross military salary plus allowances while you are on military leave without pay.
