Virginia State Parks Free Veteran Disability Passport

Free parking, launch and admission, plus 50 percent off camping and rentals

With a 100 percent VA service-connected disability rating you get a free passport to Virginia State Parks. It covers vehicle parking, boat launch and horse trailer parking, and admission for you and everyone in your vehicle at parks that charge per person. It also gives you 50 percent off camping, swimming, shelters, equipment rentals operated by the park, and stays of two nights or more in a standard yurt, and 25 percent off a one-night standard yurt booking.

How to apply

Call 800-933-7275 and choose option 5, or send the completed Virginia State Parks disability and veteran disability pass application with a copy of your VA Benefit Summary Letter to resvs@dcr.virginia.gov, or by mail to Virginia State Parks, P.O. Box 1394, Richmond, VA 23218.

The completed pass application and a copy of your VA Benefit Summary Letter showing a 100 percent service-connected rating.
