Virginia Works offices give you free help finding work as a departing service member, veteran or military spouse. That includes a job readiness assessment with interviews and testing, resume help, education and training recommendations, an individual employment plan, job search help, career counselling, labour market and occupational information, referrals to job banks and job openings, referrals to employers and registered apprenticeships, job development if you have barriers to employment, referrals to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act training, and monthly follow-up from an assigned case manager for six months.
