You can use military experience or training toward Washington professional licensing requirements, and if you already hold a professional licence from another state you may be able to get an expedited Washington licence. If you deploy out of state, your professional licence can be placed in military status, which keeps it active until you return and waives the renewal fee for that period.
Contact the licensing authority for your occupation, or email DOLBPDOUTREACH@dol.wa.gov, and tell them you are a service member or military spouse.
Documentation of your military training or experience, your current out-of-state licence if you have one, and your deployment orders if you are asking for military status.
