Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Estate Management Program

Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA)
Protective payee management of benefits and basic living expenses

You can have a protective payee take over managing your money if you or a family member cannot manage financial affairs. The programme takes custody of the finances and makes sure basic needs such as housing, food, clothing and medical care are paid for. It can act under a VA fiduciary appointment or as a Social Security Administration representative payee.
