You can buy hunting and fishing licences at a reduced fee, generally half price, if you are a Washington resident disabled veteran. Nonresident disabled veterans pay resident prices instead.

Send a VA Benefit Summary Letter and a completed Hunter/Fisher Veterans Reduced Fee Application to the WDFW Licensing Division, PO Box 43154, Olympia WA 98504.

What you'll need

A VA Benefit Summary Letter showing your service-connected disability rating, and a completed Hunter/Fisher Veterans Reduced Fee Application.

Eligibility

You received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces
You have a service-connected disability rating of 30 percent or more from the VA, or you are 65 or older with a service-connected disability rating of any percentage
