Transitional housing with wrap-around support at two facilities

You can live in supported transitional housing in Port Orchard or Orting while you work toward stable housing, vocational rehabilitation and a better income. Staff and wrap-around services are built around three goals: more residential stability, greater self-determination, and a higher skill level and income potential.

How to apply

Submit the WDVA Transitional Housing Program admission application. For the Port Orchard facility call 360-764-0727, and for Orting call 360-982-4830.

What you'll need

Your DD214 or discharge paperwork, a completed admission application, and your consent to a criminal background check.

Eligibility

  • You served in the U.S. Armed Forces and received an honorable or general under honorable conditions discharge
  • You have been homeless for one or more nights
  • You want to lead a clean and sober lifestyle and make changes leading to independent living
  • You are willing to undergo a criminal background check
