100 percent of tuition and fees, up to $10,000 per fiscal year

If you serve in the West Virginia National Guard, this program pays 100 percent of your tuition and allowable fees up to $10,000 per fiscal year at a participating West Virginia college or university. You can use it alongside federal tuition assistance. The money can only go to tuition and allowable fees, and you cannot keep any overpayment or refund.

How to apply

Apply through the WVEEP online application, creating an account if you are a new user. For help, email ng.wv.wvarng.list.education-office-wv@army.mil or call 304-561-6361.

What you'll need

A detailed degree plan, documentation from your school listing the cost of each course, and your grades submitted to the WVEEP manager after each class.

Eligibility

You are a West Virginia National Guard service member
You are enrolled in an approved, accredited post-secondary institution in West Virginia
You are not under any adverse action or administrative flag when you apply
You have provided a detailed degree plan
You will complete all classes before your Expiration Term of Service date
You have documentation from your school that clearly lists the cost of each course
