West Virginia Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children (MIC3)

West Virginia Department of Education, through the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

West Virginia belongs to the interstate compact that removes school barriers created by frequent military moves and deployments. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived, keeps differences in attendance rules, scheduling, sequencing, grading, course content and assessment from holding your child back, protects eligibility for programs and extracurricular activities, and helps your child graduate on time.
