Wisconsin Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, through the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Enrollment, placement, eligibility and graduation protections for military children

Wisconsin belongs to the interstate compact that smooths school transitions for military children. It speeds up enrollment when records have not arrived, keeps differences in attendance rules, scheduling, sequencing, grading, course content and assessment from disadvantaging your child, protects eligibility for educational programs and extracurricular academic, athletic and social activities, and supports on-time graduation.
