Wisconsin offers seven distinctive licence plate designs honouring service members, veterans, retired service members and certain family members. They can go on automobiles, motor homes, trucks rated under 8,000 pounds gross vehicle weight, or farm trucks rated at 12,000 pounds or less. Each plate has its own eligibility and documentation rules.

The proof of eligibility for the specific plate, which is usually your DD214 or DD215, your vehicle registration, or certification from your commander if you are currently serving.
