Wyoming Tuition Assistance for Surviving Dependents of a Wyoming National Guard Service Member

Wyoming pays matriculation fees and tuition at a Wyoming university, community college or vocational training institution for the spouse and children of a Wyoming National Guard member who dies, or becomes permanently and totally disabled, while on state active duty or authorized training.

How to apply

Contact the admissions office at the Wyoming school you plan to attend; there is no central state application.

What you'll need

Documentation of the Guard member death or permanent and total disability in the line of duty, and proof of your relationship such as a marriage certificate or birth certificate.

Eligibility

  • You are the spouse or child of a Wyoming National Guard service member
  • Your service member died, or became permanently and totally disabled, while serving on state active duty or authorized training
  • You are enrolling at a university, community college or vocational training institution in Wyoming
