Wyoming Veterans Hiring Preference in State Employment

The hiring Wyoming state agency, through the state human resources process
5 percent scoring advantage, or 10 percent for disabled veterans

You get an advantage when you apply for a new Wyoming state job. Where a numerical scoring system is used, veterans and surviving spouses receive a 5 percent advantage and disabled veterans receive 10 percent. Where no numerical scoring is used, you must be given an advantage over non-veteran candidates that reasonably equals the numerical preference.
