Design Systems Lead

About the Role

As a Design Systems Lead, you will own the creation, maintenance, and evolution of the TurboVets design system. You will ensure consistency, clarity, and scalability across all user interfaces by developing reusable components, design standards, and interface patterns. Your work will support faster delivery, stronger visual cohesion, and a high quality user experience across the entire platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain the TurboVets design system, component library, and style guidelines

  • Develop scalable, reusable UI patterns that support consistent product experience

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure high quality implementation

  • Support design reviews, accessibility considerations, and interface consistency

  • Maintain documentation and design artifacts that support cross functional clarity

  • Identify gaps in the design system and expand components as product needs evolve

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 plus years of experience in product design, interaction design, or design systems work

  • Strong experience with Figma and modern UI design practices

  • Demonstrated ability to create scalable component libraries and interface patterns

  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross platform design principles

  • Bonus experience working closely with engineering teams on frontend implementation
