DEVOPS Engineer

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help build and maintain the automation, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure that support TurboVets’ engineering teams. You’ll work across CI/CD, containerization, and cloud services to ensure reliable, efficient delivery of our applications. You will collaborate closely with backend and UI engineers, contribute to infrastructure design, and support scaling systems that power our mission to serve veterans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and maintain CI pipelines using GitHub Actions
Support Continuous Delivery workflows and deployments across AWS
Develop and manage containerization processes using Docker and ECS
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate pipelines into their workflows
Maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools
Improve pipeline performance and reliability
Troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues
Contribute to documentation and support internal DevOps processes

QUALIFICATIONS

3 to 5 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
Hands on experience with Docker and Linux based containerization
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Experience using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
Understanding of networking fundamentals in cloud environments
Knowledge of package management and deployment patterns
Ability to write shell scripts and automate operational tasks
Bonus experience with Kubernetes or Terraform based workflows
