IT Support Specialist

About the Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will own critical on-site IT operations and ensure every system at TurboVets runs with reliability and precision. You will manage devices, access, security, and onboarding across a fast moving, cloud driven environment. Your work will support teams across the company and help maintain the infrastructure that powers our mission to serve veterans. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and People teams to strengthen processes, improve security standards, and build a well organized, high accountability IT environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware, access, and credentials

  • Automate onboarding workflows to increase consistency and efficiency

  • Manage device health and compliance using Sophos and JamfNow in a Mac first environment

  • Maintain SaaS and cloud access across Google Workspace, O365, Cloudflare, AWS, Copilot, Cursor, and 1Password

  • Configure and manage Cloudflare WARP for secure endpoint connectivity

  • Administer Google Admin Console permissions, SAML SSO, OAuth controls, and support future Okta integration

  • Support API and service account access for Google Cloud services

  • Oversee Slack administration, integrations, and workspace management

  • Coordinate with Operations on asset tracking, hardware returns, and documentation

  • Maintain clear documentation and diagrams that support IT audits and DevOps alignment

  • Identify gaps, drive process improvement, and strengthen security hygiene across the IT environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration

  • Proficiency managing Google Workspace and MDM solutions such as JamfNow

  • Understanding of SAML, OAuth, and SSO authentication frameworks

  • Familiarity with AWS IAM, Cloudflare access, and SaaS security practices

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and calmly under pressure
