Project Manager

TurboVets delivers mission-critical software systems supporting U.S. Military branches and Veterans. We are hiring a Project Manager to strengthen structured execution, deployment visibility, and delivery discipline across complex, regulated programs. This role partners closely with the Senior Program Manager to ensure predictable delivery, risk transparency, and cross-functional accountability across engineering, product, and operations teams. Your work will help ensure mission-critical systems are delivered predictably and reliably for those who serve.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain structured deployment and UAT dashboards
  • Track environment readiness, staging validation, and production milestones
  • Surface blockers with clear owners and timelines
  • Prepare concise weekly health summaries
  • Maintain risk registers, action trackers, and change logs
  • Monitor sprint commitments, scope control, and cross-team dependencies
  • Flag slippage trends and delivery churn early
  • Ensure documentation, approvals, and artifacts are audit-ready
  • Support integration, rollout, and production support model preparation
  • Escalate risks early with framing and mitigation options
  • Draft structured weekly status updates and prepare internal reporting and briefing inputs
  • Coordinate cross-team working sessions and ensure decisions are documented

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-8 years of project management experience
  • Experience delivering software in structured or regulated environments
  • Experience with Jira, ClickUp, or similar project management software
  • Strong dashboarding and milestone tracking skills
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based systems (AWS preferred)
  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or evolving requirements
  • Strong execution rigor and follow-through discipline
  • Comfort engaging directly with engineering teams
  • Excellent written communication and reporting skills
  • Bonus exposure to compliance-driven environments such as RMF, ATO, or FedRAMP
  • Bonus experience in defense, federal, or compliance-heavy environments
