Security Automation Engineer

As a Security Automation Engineer, you will build automated systems and controls that strengthen TurboVets’ security posture at scale. You will design tools, workflows, and processes that reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and embed security into day-to-day engineering operations. Your work will help maintain a disciplined, efficient, and proactive security environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build automation for security checks, scanning, and validation workflows
  • Integrate automated security processes into pipelines and development environments
  • Support continuous monitoring of systems, configurations, and access patterns
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Security teams to streamline secure practices
  • Maintain documentation for automated controls, systems, and workflows
  • Identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve security efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 plus years of experience in security automation, DevSecOps, or related roles
  • Proficiency with scripting languages and automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems, scanning tools, and cloud security patterns
  • Understanding of secure development practices and operational security fundamentals
  • Bonus experience building internal tools or security integrations at scale
